I love holidays.
Always have. Always will.
But there are always points of contention for me as someone who feels like they have no limit to what they can eat when they cook themselves, and every limit to what they can eat when others are cooking.
At first- my Crohn’s Disease made days that centered around eating stressful. After that, being vegan set me up to feel like the odd one on out amongst family and friends.
Realizing how sensitive I was to oil and processed foods made the food thing even harder.
However, holidays are STILL my absolute favorite, for so many reasons (food related and other)! Check out some of the meals I’ve made for various holidays, and blogs about the food that other people have made.
