Baby Bar, HaHashmoniam 90
I’m gonna be honest, I’ve never heard anyone call this place Baby Bar. But it’s right near where I’ve been working in Tel Aviv all summer (lucky for the vegans at Anonymous that there is this salad place and hummus place right below us; and lucky for the businesses as well!). Both places are always packed, and are open for lunch but close before dinner time.
For super cheap, around 26 shek, you can get a HUGE salad with anything you want in it. Their sweet potatoes aren’t made with oil, and neither are their lentils and other good stuff. Instead of salad dressing (likely lots of oil) I get lemon juice and tahini on the side. This salad here has lettuce, kale, quinoa, corn, tomatoes, cabbage, beets, chickpeas, lentils, sweet potatoes, and probably a bunch of other things I’m forgetting. So filling and such a great deal.
